EATON - SC9000 EP Arc-resistant Drive
SC9000 EP Arc-resistant Drive Industry’s first fully integrated arc resistant medium voltage drive to increase worker safety and equipment performance in industrial environments. The arc-resistant rating for the SC9000 EP is the result of extensive 3rd party witnessed arc fault testing on all sections of the drive at a certified third party power laboratory.

-Enclosure controls helps direct arc blast energy through safe exhaust locations while an embedded exhaust cooling system significantly reduces the temperature of exhaust gas
-Patented inverter encapsulation and short circuit protection technologies help prevent fault propagation and limit arc fault energy if an arc fault were to happen
-Engineered to prevent the possibility of an arc fault upon powering the drive
