SC9000 EP MV Drive Eaton engineered the SC9000 EP adjustable frequency drive (AFD) to improve reliability, cost effectiveness and enhance safety in harsh industrial environments. The next generation of Eaton medium voltage drives is designed for global oil and gas, mining, utility, water and wastewater, and other critical applications.
Features
- Highly reliable SC9000 EP series of drives achieving energy savings while reducing downtime during routine maintenance through an encapsulated powerpole and modular inverter design.
- Incorporate a three-level neutral point clamped (NPC) inverter topology, which reduces the number of power switching devices in the inverter and improve reliability.
- Encapsulated powerpole inverter with heat pipe technology helps to increase power density, reduce overall equipment size and protect sensitive electronic components in harsh environments
- Double bus synchronous transfer, which allows a single drive to control multiple motors and reduce equipment costs
- Eaton’s medium voltage integrated control gear eliminates cables, reduces installation costs and provides tremendous space savings
